What is the major theme of this novel? why is this theme important to a teenager living in 2007?
The theme of this novel is all about human instincts. The children including Jack have been turned out into barbarians without common rules that humans have created. This is important to the teenagers living in 2007 because these days the children are losing the concept of the rules. Many children are breaking major and minor rules. They should realize the importance of the rules and know that rules exist for the human beings' own benefits.
