Entry 8 -- Lord of the Flies

Entry of your choice

This book Lord of the Flies weren't the book that drew me into attention at the first when we received the blog assignment from Mrs. McAllister, because I thought the book was about some flies after I read the title of the book. So I read three books, Enders Game, Animal Farm, and Fahrenheit 451 first, but my ambition didn't seem to satisfy just by reading three books. So I reluctantly read this book. Unlike my thought and judgement I gave to this book before reading, this story was incredible. I found the author William Gerald Golding an astounding author. The main characters weren't flies, but humans. After finish reading this book, I think I realized that the flies mentioned on the title represent the stupid children locked inside the island. The lord from the title represented the leader, I think. The story was depressing and frustrating, but had some beautiful moments inside it. I loved the story.
